Dr. Demetrios Cantzos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering, University of West Attica, Athens, Greece, where he has been since 2010. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in 2008 and 2003, respectively, in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, and the B.S. degree in Physics from the University of Athens in 2002. During his stay in the US, he participated in research programs funded by NASA while his PhD research was supported in part by NSF and in part by the US Army. From 2008 until presently he has participated in various EU and national research programs for the University of West Attica.
